Our four year old program is quite unique. During most of the morning the children are given a choice of three classrooms with different activities in each. In the art room the children express their creativity with a structured project and at least one free project such as Play-Doh, easel painting or chalk art. Each child will participate in the art room some time during the week, daily if they choose.

The active room is as the name suggests - it is a place where the children can play with big blocks, housekeeping center, sand table and many other activities.

The quiet room is a refuge where the children can play with table top games, puzzles, Legos or have a story read to them.

As the children change rooms, they learn how to make decisions and acquire a sense of independence.
|

Each week a letter of the alphabet is introduced. Many activities during the week revolve around the sound that the letter makes.
|
| |
After activity time the children will gather for circle time. They will discuss the calendar, weather, music and then enjoy snack. A music teacher visits once week. The children enjoy movement and music combined. The children play on the playground every day that the weather permits.

There are 16 children and 2 teachers in each class.
