Transition Class

Age Requirements : Must be 5 by March 2010 and attended school before.

Mon. - Thurs. 12:00 - 3:00

Monthly Tuition - $200.00

The transition class is designed for children turning five in the fall and winter months and for those that would benefit from another year of preschool before kindergarten.

We have show and tell and other activities during the week that will focus on the sounds of our letter of the week. We work on improving the children's listening skills and ability to follow directions, wait their turn, raise their hands and wait to be called on.

Our primary goal is for the children to love school and be excited about learning. We strive to have each child ready for kindergarten.

The daily routine includes circle, snack and play time as well as daily art projects. A music teacher visits once a week. We have a science project each week. Weather permitting, we go on the playground every day.

The staff ratio is 1 to 5. This allows teachers to pay attention to each child's needs.
