Hi! I'm Vicki Jackson. This will be my 5th year as a teacher at Great Beginnings.

I was born in Los Angeles and lived in California all my life until my husband's job brought us to Leesburg in 1988. We raised our three wonderful daughters here. Jaime, our oldest, is married to Jay. Their children are Cooper and Emery. Our daughter Hillary is married to Matt. They have two sons, Wesley and Spencer. Our youngest daughter, Becca, and her husband Mitch are expecting their first baby in December. My husband Rick and I recently celebrated our 45th anniversary!

While in California, I graduated from Cypress College and attended Long Beach State University. Back in the early 90's, I taught 2- year-old preschool at St. James here in Leesburg for four years. I then moved on to Loudoun County Public Schools, where I was a Kindergarten Assistant for fifteen years at Evergreen Mill. I retired from LCPS in 2013, in order to spend time with and care for my grandchildren.

Besides time with my family, I LOVE to play tennis! I also enjoy reading, running (in small doses), shopping and sushi. I'm very excited to be back in the world of two year olds. I'm looking forward to a fun and fantastic year!
